Pen and Ink

A lot people ask me about my sketching pen.
Here is my little sharing.  My weapon is a Hero 86.  英雄牌美工筆 86 號.

The nib is like a hook can perform different thickness and style.

About the ink.  I tried many different type and of course it has to be waterproof to be use for sketchers.

Many Sketchers love to use Noodler's Ink bulletproof but I just can't find it in Hong Kong. That is available from Amazon, but the shipping is expensive..... So, I rather go for something else.

Later I found the above available in HK.  True waterproof ink.  Very black!  Anything put next to it will turned into grey.  This ink is a product from Sailor, but it has its downside... $250 (US$30) a bottle (Very expensive)  and it will clogged the pen!  When the ink dried, it will be harden, that is a BIG NO!

At last, I found this:  Daler-Rowley Calli ink.  This is also work with Airbrush, and it's price is HK$49 a bottle.  It is available in Wanchai Artland.  藝林- 香港灣仔駱克道301 - 307號洛克中心3樓.
